This Friday and Saturday frexh an exhibition of emerging art, food fashion and musical talent is coming to town.

On Friday, American band PaperDoll is headlining a rockin' music and fashion show at Mao Livehouse. And on Saturday there's a night of culinary experimentation with chefs from Madizon, M1NT, Casa 13 and Boxing Cat - alongside an arts exhibition at 5 on the Bund. Go here for event details. Part of proceeds will go to Wokai - a micro-finance non-profit that provides loans to people in rural China.

Coordinator Brian Yang chatted with us about the idea behind the event and it's oddly-spelled name in this month's Urban Promos
