Following the success of the inaugural Jue Festival in 2009, Split Works is gearing up for Jue 2010. This, you'll remember, is a community-driven urban festival celebrating China's blossoming arts scenes.

The event will take place from March 10-28, 2010 at venues throughout Beijing and Shanghai, and will showcase up-and-coming local and international artists of all stripes, from punk rockers to sculptors to electro DJs to playwrights and everything in between.

Jue 2009 featured 25 events, 91 participating artists, and over 12,000 attendees. They intend to go even bigger in 2010, curating a preposterously huge slate of events. Log on to their site for line-ups and schedules from December:  www.juefestival.com.
