That paradigm of footballing efficiency Germany are paying these shores a visit to play against the not quite so competant Chinese national team. And the really really good news is the contest is right here in the Shanghai. Part of a two match post-season tour of Asia, the three-time FIFA World Cup winning Teutons take on China at the Shanghai Stadium at 8pm on May 29 before before travelling on to Abu Dhabi to face the UAE on June 2.

The not so good news is that 15 first-choice players will not be in the squad due to their involvement in the German Cup Final on May 30. Ho hum people, it's still international football, and might mean China have a chance. Having said that  China’s only meeting with the European powerhouse was in 2005 with the Chinese going down a very respectable 1-0 in Hamburg.
