We packed the studio with muscle this week in anticipation of Saturday's Brawl on the Bund 2010. Two fighters loosened their ties (this is white-collar boxing we're talking about) and fired off some preemptive trash talk.

The event raises money for two charities: Sports for All, which provides sports lessons to migrant children; and Leo's Foundation, which enables poor families to pay for medical care for preemies with respiratory failure.

As always - we take you through what's on this week. Web editor Leslie fills in for Ned, since he's too busy cruising the Yangtze to bother with a podcast.

Listen in as three Brits with superior intellect gang up on Justin, a poor lowly yank (it wasn't his fault, his parents couldn't afford to send him to some snooty boarding school where everybody speaks with a plummy accent). This week, we talk with Robb Pollard about the Apartment, his new luxebar / dining room / lounge concept on Yongfu Lu. Also, our old friend Phil Boyle pops in to tell us about Urban 18, Shanghai's new indoor golf simulator bar. It's like regular golf, but without all the annoying fresh air and sunshine. Get ready for some night putting!

An Irish playwright, a Persian producer and a promoter of Finnish music walk into a recording studio… Nope, not the first line of a corny joke, but the latest fun and fact packed Urbanatomy podcast. So hit play to hear about the ongoing SRT arts extravaganza, the Xingfu Lu block party, a round-up of all the weekend's events and the untimely death of a pet pig…

After a three week hiatus from the pod we're back. And this week we've got a star-studded, slurred-speech spectacular for you. Steve Notman pays us a visit to talk about Whisky Live and teaches us how to talk to our drinks. The folks from Shanghai Repertory Theater give us a sneak peak into Private Lives and the Shanghai International Spring Arts Festival. Also: a foliage report on Ned's recently-waxed nether regions...

Locked out of the ChinesePod studios, Justin Fischer and Ned Kelly took to the dusty That’s Shanghai office attic and waffled on into a couple of old tin cans, waxing lyrical about, well, the waxing of Ned’s nether regions no less. But don’t let that put you off; there is also plenty of music as we round-up all of the long weekends whoopee and wingding. So listen up people, and hear which ones you want to be checking out…
