Football - SIFL
Thursday, 15 October 2009 06:10 Written by Urbanatomy This week sees the return of the SIFL after the National holiday with both Century Park and Tianma hosting games this weekend. It is the second footballing weekend of the season's calender but speculation has already started on who is going up or down this year. Big talk on the Shanghai Shooters or the Azzuri already looking potential Champions, although Azzuri have not kicked a ball in the league this season - but they start their campaign this weekend against the Shanghai Vikings. I expect the Germans will have something to say about who's winning what this season as they face the Anzacs in a friendly. In division one the Voodoo already look the team to beat this year with Ned Kelly (has he gone further grey over the summer?) scoring for fun in his last game which does raise the question: who's going to seriously challenge Voodoo for promotion this season?
