Monday, 19 October 2009 03:10 Written by Urbanatomy In the second week of fixtures in the Shanghai International Football League, Shanghai Shooters continued their blistering start to the season with an emphatic 5-0 win against the Beaver. Azzuri kicked their season off with a 6-1 demolition of the Vikings, Shanghai (TBD) Lions scored a treble to take 3 points in their game against Shanghai Japan, Cosmos failed to claim any points at Tianma against O'Malleys Oranje and are still looking for their first win. Shanghai 2000 FC have begun their charge for the First Division title with a 5 star win over Long Tang at Century Park, while Voodoo continue their success with a 1-0 win over Corea FC but no Ned Kelly on the score sheet. Voodoo Child took the lead and held on to a 1-0 win against Shanghai Re-United, while Saurkrauts Die Zweite scored a last minute goal to claim victory over the Crazy Turks.
In the friendlies: Krauts overcome a defiant Anzacs to win 3-2. Surely Anzacs are this year's Division one dark horse!
