Amigos and Amigas, After the horrific weather of the previous week we were treated with perfect weather on Sunday. It was a great weekend and some nerve wrecking results!

DulwichSuper 48 0
We think both teams were happy with the result. Dulwich to keep a cleansheet and Super 48 bringing down the score every week. Hopefully this will lead to their first points soon!

Lions 3 Hawks 2
Absolute huge game for both teams. A massive crowd of bookmakers assembled around the field and it seemed there was some serious betting going on. The Lions took an early lead but the Hawks equalized quickly through their top scorer Romilson. The Hawks were then unlucky to concede an own goal in a fairly even game to go into the break 2-1 down. In the second half the Lions tried to sit it out but the Hawks pressure appeared to be too big with one goal and another header right on the cross bar. However, a rare goal from El Presidente… who only came on as a substitute for the last 5 minutes gave all three points to the Lions!

Galacticos 6 Flamenkos 5
This game will go down in the history of the SPL and it is one that anybody in attendance will never forget! Mama mia, it was not for the faint-hearted… The Flamenkos started strong and took a comfortable 2-0 lead but failed to add more when they had the chances. The Galacticos, well known for their fighting spirit, came back at them strong and took a comfortable 4-2 lead. This itself was already a joy to watch - but wait - with just 5 minutes to go the score was 4-4! Then it really went crazy.
In the 88th minute the Galacticos surely thought they scored the winner at 5-4, but just one minute later the Flamenkos equalized, which they thought would surely give them a point. Nothing more than the truth was that the Galacticos were awarded a penalty in the 90th minute of a sizzling game and captain Ned Kelly stepped up to take all the glory for his team 6-5. It's said that Ned has been missing ever since celebrating this historic game !

This weekend we have more BIG games so please come out and watch:

11am Dulwich – Super 48  They played each other last week so lets see which team will do better!

1pm Lions - Bulls  Always an attractive game with a lots of goals because of the attacking football of both sides!

3pm Japan – Hawks  The BIG game of the weekend as both teams need to catch up with the Lions, who are 6 points clear right now!

All games take place at the Dulwich College Community Fields, Biyun Lu by Lan'an Lu, Jinqiao
