Are you a great skater? Have you played competitive hockey? Would you like to play competitive games against teams from all over Asia? The Red Guard, an ice hockey team made up mainly of kids aged between the ages of 11 and 15, is on the hunt for new recruits. Although the team is mainly ex-pat kids at the moment, they would love some Chinese skaters to join them too. The Red Guard train on Wednesday nights up at the Champion Rink in Balian Mall (N. Puxi) and on Saturday and Sunday mornings at the rink in Songjiang (University Town.) They regularly play teams from Beijing, Harbin and Taipei, and when they can, try to play teams from Hong Kong and Korea. Come and skate with the team this month for free! For more information, please contact Carolyn Kwant: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
