Okay, budding Tony Hawks, listen up:

We have KIA X-Games Asia 2010 tickets to give away. We have them for each day (May 27, 28, 29, 30), and if you want to score a pair all you have to do is send a photo of you, your roommate, or your granny performing an extreme trick

What this means is open to interpretation: It could be an ollie on The Bund. Or an unintentional double back flip off a bar stool at Windows. Feel free to Photoshop. We'll pick winners based on creativity and entertainment value.

The catch is either you, your roommate, your granny, whoever is photographed - has to come to our office to collect the tickets (meaning you can't just yank from Google Images, ya charlatans).

Go to extremes with the 2010 KIA X Games Asia

Some would say this bunch of daredevils have a death wish. While preparing for the upcoming Shanghai X Games event, riders all over the world end up broken, bruised and cut-up practicing these outrageously dangerous stunts. This month you can see if their hard work has paid off as they go harder, faster and higher than ever before to win a top prize purse of RMB1 million.

New boss Blazevic gives old guard the boot and promises loot

With the off-season scandal saga finally resolved, and Guangzhou Evergrande and Chengdu Blades relegated for match fixing, the Chinese Premier League action is finally underway. A disappointing fifth-place finish for city side Shanghai Shenhua last season led to the dismissal of head coach Jia Xiuquan and the appointment of Bosnian-Croat Miroslav Blazevic, the man most famous for leading Croatia to third place in the World Cup in 1998.

China's hopes for the Winter Olympics

A fortnight of clanging cowbells, bobsleighs going bottom-up and rosy-cheeked Teutons in florid fluorescent one-piece suits – that’s right, Vancouver hosts the 21st Winter Olympics from February 12-28. And the big medal freeze has started to thaw for Team China in recent times. We’ve taken the temperature of their title hopefuls.

Anyone for tennis?
The 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 is here!

We were bitterly disappointed when we heard that Shanghai was to lose the Tennis Masters Cup, a competition which brings together the top eight players in the world, to London. And disappointment made way for disgust when we heard that all we were getting in return was the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, a competition which brings together the top eight players in the world and then the next best 48 for good measure… Saythewhatnow? Yup, that’s right it’s mock the cockney time as we’ve traded a seven-day, evening-only, 30-match competition for an eight-day, all-day, 99-match extravaganza. Here’s the lowdown...

The Masters 1000 series
The tournament is the eighth leg of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000, a series of nine tennis tournaments that are part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour, held annually throughout the year in Europe, North America and, as of Shanghai 2009, Asia.
