Reviews On a recent Sunday mid-morning, Whisk was packed with a cheerful, noisy assortment of young families and thirty-something brunchers, but despite the sizable crowd service was admirably efficient. Thankfully so for we were in need of a boost, which came in the form of an iced Spanish mocha (RMB 28), a dark chocolate froth shot through with a powerful jolt of espresso. We followed with the caponata and goat cheese bruschetta (RMB 28) and seafood risotto (RMB 68) -- both delicious -- though our Caesar salad (RMB 48) came drizzled with a thick, flavorless, mayonnaise-like dressing. With the niceties of lunch out of the way, we dove into the molten chocolate cake with ice cream (RMB 38) ?C just as good as we’d expect from a venue billed as “choco café.” Unfortunately, the place was out of cupcakes by the time we arrived, but we’ll be back a little earlier next time.
